Martin E. Grimes Award

You are invited to nominate an individual for the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress Martin E. Grimes Award. We consider this to be one of the most prestigious awards bestowed by the fire service and we need your assistance in nominating qualified individuals. Nominations must be postmarked no later than July 1 and sent to the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress Administrative Office at Oklahoma State University.

Purpose of the Award

The Martin E. Grimes Award was established in 1996 by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress for the purpose of recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the fire service by elevating the level of professionalism through leadership in the development and improvement of professional qualifications standards, certification, and accreditation.
